Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is one way to receive local, fresh, seasonal flowers. CSA members purchase a share of the farm, and in turn, farmers provide weekly flowers throughout the growing season. Most often, CSA money is paid before the growing season starts.
Now is the time of year to sign-up as a CSA member for the 2024 season!!!!
Currently Mossbrook offers a full summer flower share and a half summer flower share. Full flower shares receive 15 farm bouquets for $315. Half flower shares receive 8 farm bouquets for $185. More seasonal shares coming soon!
This North Country weather can be tricky but the summer flower share's season runs from the beginning of June until the early parts of October. Members will be notified when the CSA will begin and then notified again near the ending of the season.
A maximum of two bouquets will be allowed for pick up each week during your share season.
Members will have a choice to make one of our store locations their designated pick up spot. Locations are at the florist shop at 175 Boynton Avenue in Plattsburgh or at the farm at 614 Mace Chasm Road in Keeseville.
Members can pick up their flower shares either Friday between 9am and 5pm or Saturday between 9am -2pm at their designated locations.
Any bouquets that have not been picked at the end of each week will be donated to a local nursing home unless you make alternate arrangements with one of our staff. CSA shares cannot be transferred to the next season and monies cannot be refunded.
You can place your order with Mossbrook Roots Flower Farm by clicking on the link below, calling us, or stopping by either of our locations! So many ways!
